Is Google's Chrome The Worlds Fastest Web Browser?

Google Chrome claims to be the web's fastest browser, I have downloaded and installed it so I could see for myself, it downloads and installs easy and at first looks like that you are unable to do much with it, but if you pry into the working's of it and click the spanner icon on the top right, a window will open to show you the various settings that you can customize to suit your needs. Chrome installs without a home page icon showing anywhere on the browser but you can turn this on from the options tab after clicking on the spanner icon, in fact all of Chrome's adjustments can be made by opening this window, quite a good idea to keep these in one place. Why the home page button is de-selected by default is any body's guess as it makes sense to be able to go back to your home page as quick and easy as possible, so you would need to select this and the home page icon will now show up to the left of the address bar and you will of course have to tell what page you would like as your home page, the only toolbar that you can have is a bookmarks toolbar, Google Chrome is not compatible with any other tool bar including the Google tool bar that is made by Google, I find this to be strange, but perhaps this what keeps Chrome operating in a fast manner. Other features include connecting to your Google account, if you have one, and you can add more user's if you wish, turn the password saver on or off, import your web browsing data from another browser should you desire, enable or disable the auto fill, add more themes. Your bookmarks are easily imported using the import feature from the bookmarks menu that can be found under the spanner icon in the top left of the browser. There are a variety of extensions that you can add to it including Roboform, my favourite password and login manager, although, to date, Roboform's tool bar can only be displayed at the bottom of the browser window which I found to be a bit of an inconvenience as I like my to see my log in tabs at the top of my browser window. Chrome is noticeably faster than any other browser that I use and I certainly could see a difference in my web pages loading up on to my screen in front of me but I feel that a lack of a tool bar lets this browser down.

Click here to download Chrome.

Pros

Fast browsing capabilities even on PC start up. Lots of add ons available.

Cons

Unable to install any tool bars including Google's own tool bar.

Conclusion

Overall a very fast web browser that is minimalistic, you can add your Google+ account to, has lots of features that are not too confusing.
